Micro Jenisys, Inc. Unveils New Website for
Broward County Schools Superintendent's Screening Committee

Ft. Lauderdale, FL  – Broward County Schools Superintendent's Screening Committee just launched its new web site at http://www.getinvolvedineducation.com/screening/index.htm. The site is the sixth and final site developed by Micro Jenisys, Inc. a local web technologies company, for the Broward County Public Schools Office of Parents, Business and Community Partnerships.

The Superintendent’s Screening Committee was formed to streamline requests from outside organizations that are interested in providing programs or distributing educational information and materials directly to Broward County Public School students. Each school year, approximately one thousand requests are received and screened. The requests range from books, schools supplies and curriculum that organizations want to donate to students, to information about free educational events and not-for-profit City and Parks and Recreation associated sports programs (PAL, Optimists, etc.), as well as information about post secondary opportunities offered to students.

The redesigned site provides organizations with easy access to the required forms and guidelines needed to submit a request to the committee as well as valuable information to help them through the screening process.

“The redesigned site is such a useful tool for outside organizations and the internal workings of the department,” said Paul Gress, Committee Coordinator. “With the high volume of requests that we receive, the new site should significantly reduce the number of calls we get since all of the information is so readily available on the web site. It will save all involved a lot of time and make the process easier for everyone.

”“We are so pleased to launch this final site for the Broward County Public Schools Office of Parents, Business and Community Partnerships. It was great to be involved with the entire team and provide each of them with sites that suit their needs and have their own requirements, while still adhering to an overall brand and design,” said Jennifer Anastasi, Micro Jenisys, Inc., CEO.  “We look forward to continuing our relationship with Broward County Schools as we provide ongoing site maintenance and updates to ensure content is fresh.”
